2005 and 2015.

The numbers are given in million.

The data will be updated, as soon as the information from 2016 will be published. Right now it still has to be evaluated.

Visitors of amusement parks in Germany

The graph shows that the amount of people that visit attraction and theme parks is increasing every year. Especially in 2009 there was a huge increase in visitors, due to positive forecasts: At that time people expected a good outcome out of the financial crisis. As a result, they spent more money on leisure activities. In 2010 the number of visitors decreased again, since the people spent more money on technical devices like smartphones than leisure activities. After that year, the amount of visitors is increasing steadily again.

Amount of visitors worldwide

In the worldwide comparison, one can see that Walt Disney is the leading company. They have twice as much visitors as the second place. The walt Disney attractions include all of the five resorts worldwide. Same goes for the other parks. All the resorts from one company are included.

The table shows that the amount of visitors is increasing year by year. All together there was an increase of 5,1% from 2014 to 2014. That mean that 19,152,000 more visitors came in 2015.
