The amusement parks are built by huge companies, however it is important to know, whether the government has an influence to them or if the companies can build the parks without any limits.

Before a theme park can be built, it has to be approved by the government. In addition to that, they have to decide with the government on the certain area, where the theme park will be built. The people who live around those parks have to be respected as well, since the music and noise cannot remain till the night. Usually the noise is allowed until 9-10pm.

The parks need traffic for the visitors, to come to and get away from the locations. These have to be planned and organized with the help of the government.

The theme park Paramount London i right now still in the building phase. It will open its doors in 2018 for approximately 40,000 visitors a day. The government supports the project and calls it of 'national importance', since they expect 27,000 new jobs in the future.

The negotiations between the government of China and the Disney leader last more than two years. From the beginning on there were several complications. Some of them were about the fireworks every evening in the city full of smog.

The Disney company had to assure that China will get a large part of the revenues, which is another deal they wouldn't do under usual conditions. Furthermore, the government had an influence on almost all of the different attractions that were built in the park. As a result, there are 80% completely new and unique attractions in the resort.

All in all, the resort is four times bigger than the Disneyland Paris

DIsney agreed on all those deals, since he saw the chance of the huge amount of possible visitors in the near surrounding. More than 330 million people could visit the park within a three hour drive by train. The unique chance to get access to the second largest economy worldwide.

Another advantage the theme park in the communistic state has, is that the government helped organizing the area where they wanted to build the park. The government dispersed thousands of people out of their homes.

In the end it is a historic symbol for the relation between China and the US.
